Frequently Asked Questions

The Lazy S Hacienda is located in Weatherford, which is about 30 minutes west of Fort Worth. The venue is just 5 minutes off of I-20. Please see the Wedding Info page for the address and map.

Please arrive at least 30 minute before the ceremony starts to ensure guests are properly seated before the ceremony begins at 4:30 PM. 

There is a free parking lot on the venue grounds. When you arrive, you will be directed to the parking area.

Semi-formal to formal attire appreciates, weather permitting. 

Women - long or short dresses. 

Men - suits +/- jacket, if desired.

The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors.

We all know how unpredictable the weather in Texas can be! Expect temperature in late October to be anywhere from 55-80 degrees fahrenheit. 

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

We’d love to know if you can make it (we hope you can!). Please RSVP on our website by Saturday, September 24th, 2022.

We want you all to be fully present with us during the ceremony. Please refrain from using your phones and cameras during the ceremony. We promise to share all the beautiful photos taken on our wedding day!

We will be having an open bar with select beer, wine, and two specialty cocktails. Dinner will consist of tacos, rice, beans, chips, and salsa. 

Please indicate any dietary restrictions or food allergies on your RSVP form.

Yes! There are a couple of hotels near the wedding venue in Weatherford. The two that we checked out and would recommend are:

1. La Quinta Inn & Suites - has been rennovated and updated within the last 2 years, pictures on their website are not up to date. 

2. Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriot - very classy and nice.

Both are about a 10 minute drive from The Lazy S Hacienda.

We have reserved a block of hotel rooms at La Quinta, a mixture of single king bed rooms and 2 queen bed rooms. To request a room from our block, call the hotel at 817-594-4481 and tell them you are with the Nguyen-Grissom Wedding. Price is around $140.  

Please do not take any table decorations, vases, signs, table runners, etc. However, we do not want our beautiful flowers to go to waste, so feel free to take greenery, if you wish.
